HAT Analytics is a maritime technology company specializing in smart condition monitoring and predictive maintenance systems for vessel machinery. Our flagship AdViSe solutions combine advanced vibration analysis, wireless sensors, and cloud-based data intelligence to help ship operators ensure machinery reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
The AdViSe product line represents Advanced Vibration Sensing, a family of systems designed to monitor, analyze and predict machinery health conditions onboard vessels.
Unlike generic monitoring systems, HAT Analytics combines deep maritime engineering expertise with data-driven intelligence. The AdViSe platform is designed specifically for shipboard environments, integrating seamlessly with vessel networks, meeting class requirements, and translating complex vibration data into clear, actionable maintenance insights.
We provide a full range of condition monitoring solutions under the AdViSe brand:
AdViSe – a portable data collection solution for periodic inspections.
AdViSe ATEX – a handheld system certified for use in hazardous (explosive) environments.
AdViSe Live – a wireless, real-time monitoring system for continuous machinery health tracking.
AdViSe Live Lite – a flexible hybrid solution combining online and handheld data collection for complete machinery coverage.
You can contact our team directly through the Contact form on our website. A technical specialist will reach out to understand your vessel’s configuration and propose a tailored AdViSe solution suited to your operational needs.
Absolutely. AdViSe solutions support API integration with ERP systems and can operate securely within existing vessel LAN environments using standard network protocols and encryption, ensuring compliance with maritime cybersecurity standards.
The AdViSe and AdViSe ATEX systems use portable handheld data collectors that connect to vibration and temperature sensors during scheduled inspections.
The AdViSe Live and AdViSe Live Lite systems use permanently installed wireless sensors to collect data automatically from critical machinery at defined intervals.
AdViSe / AdViSe ATEX: Measurements are taken during periodic walkaround surveys performed by the operator.
AdViSe Live: Measurements are automatically scheduled—typically every three hours per point—to provide continuous machinery health insights.
AdViSe Live Lite: Measurements are collected on demand during Bluetooth data collection rounds.
Intervals and schedules can be adjusted according to machinery criticality and operating profile.
All collected data is processed by the HAT Analytics platform, which performs post-processing, fault detection, and health assessment.
The system applies both physics-based algorithms and data-driven analytics to detect deviations and predict early-stage faults.
AdViSe applies adaptive thresholds and analysis models specific to each machinery type. The system consolidates all measurement data into a clear health status.
AdViSe / AdViSe ATEX: Data is stored locally on the handheld device and uploaded to the HAT Cloud Server or onboard AdViSe Server via Wi-Fi when available.
AdViSe Live: Wireless sensors communicate over Wi-Fi within the engine room or other monitored areas to the onboard AdViSe Linux Server, which stores and processes data before cloud synchronization.
AdViSe Live Lite: Data is collected via Bluetooth to the mobile device and then uploaded to the HAT Cloud or local server when internet connectivity is available.
Data is transmitted wirelessly via secure protocols (MQTT/HTTPS) and stored on our encrypted cloud servers or integrated with your existing ERP/CMMS.
All systems ensure local data retention in case of temporary network interruptions.
AdViSe / AdViSe ATEX: Require Wi-Fi only when uploading data to the HAT Cloud. No permanent network connection is required.
AdViSe Live: Requires a Wi-Fi network inside the engine room (or sensor locations).
AdViSe Live Lite: Does not require a Wi-Fi network for data collection. Each Bluetooth-enabled sensor stores vibration and temperature data locally. During routine inspection rounds, the crew uses the AdViSe tablet to connect to nearby sensors via Bluetooth and download the stored measurements.
Yes. All AdViSe systems are designed to function offline. Data collection, processing, and reporting continue locally, with automatic synchronization to the HAT Cloud Server once internet access is restored.
Our devices are ATEX and IECEx certified for hazardous areas, and fully compliant with industrial cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443).
